The people of old likened the sound of the ryuteki flute to the roar of a rising dragon.
Its voice resonates with Norito, sacred Shinto prayers chanted by a Harima Onmyoji, their tones shifting and flowing moment by moment.
And thus, music is born.
As two dancers move in improvisational ritual, the gentle ringing of bells becomes part of the soundscape.
Sounds of nature—captured in the foothills of Nara and along the shores of Kumano—
murmuring streams, the songs of insects and birds, and waves upon the shore—
intertwine with the music, forming a rich and evolving ensemble.
